No, dear... this is not a test of worthiness. You see... Evan challenged Dalamar for the Title and Position of Overlord..... Gnort then challenged Evan for the Baron's Ring out of loyalty to Dalamar. IF Evan looses his challenge, then the challenge from Gnort will be fought. IF Evan wins his challenge against Dalamar, then it is my understanding that Gnort's challenge for the Barony will be null and void. If he still wishes to
challenge Evan, he would have to re-issue his challenge for the title of Overlord in that case.

Considering that a completely different sport takes place on Twilight Island, why go there?

The Annex is no longer used for regular dueling. Wouldn't that be a more logical place?

I understand your feelings on this matter, and I think it would be weird seeing a swords duel at the Island. Nevertheless, there are no rules against this (I don't think) and I think it would be kinda nice. I have seen swords duels, though not official ones, in the 0utback. No one said anything about that. So, I guess it depends on the caller and the duelers.

Thank ye fer the notice, but it is an RDI sponcered room, and I do like the Island. Due to some one trashed the Battle Field, and I don't wont to duel in the Arena or Annex I picked this one over the two.

I suggest you check with RDI Dans, the Duel of Magic Supervisor to find out if DoM has any official events that night before you finalize plans to have an events there.

Ah, so therefore, Gnort is trying to eliminate the renegade from the barony? Could Gnort theoretically align himself also renegade to Dalamar? And if Evan wins, would there be an empty Baron ring? Thank you.

Yes, Gnort is trying to eliminate a Renegade Baron... but while he could align himself Renegade if he won, he would not. On the truely outside chance Evan wins, Dalamar becomes the Baron of the first ring.

I would point out dat if Evan has a champion, as does Dalamar, Dal may verra well nae be a baron should he lose. But its not gonna happen so I'm not worried either ;)

Thanks... I knew about that part, and that Nova is to be Evan's champion, but I had felt it best to leave those matters lay, rather than over-complicate the explination.
