Is This What I Really Want?

Dear DoS Community,

Certain actions as of late have prompted me to debate my current position in this sport. The Challenge, the criticizm...and now this. While I won't publically state what "this" is, there are those who may have a good guess. If you think you know, please, do not tell anyone..
The situation is as follows: As of now I ponder whether I should stay or I should go. This decision is not easy for me, as I have many friends here. But are they really my friends? I'm not going to pull out a dictionary and give you a word-by-word analysis of the word friend, but if I'm mistaken a friend is someone who wouldn't stab you in the back over a minor qualm. And it's not just one "friend" of mine, it's many. So now I sit upon my throne of thrash and broken dreams and I think, is
this what I want? Merely a facade of people who respect me enough not to insult me to my face? Plastic smiles and wishes for the best that mean nothing? Or do I want more than this? The question remains unanswered, though I do feel that something is missing; Therefore, one day from now I will announce my true intentions. Maybe I'm just brashly posting this while the fire is still burning, but maybe this is a thought I've held in the deep recess' of my mind for quite some time. It remains to be seen.

I like ya alot..hate to see ya leave over something stupid..People are people...they do stupid things, for stupid reasons. Generally cause of Lack of info. I have never stabbed ya in the back, nor do I plan on it. Hope to see ya around for a while. Chin up hon...and just roll with it..

Just so you know...I was never one to stab any friends in the back. I know that you know that I know that you know I never would ::wonders if that made sense:: I respect all of my friends decisions, though I may not support them. My friendship is always yours...

Lord Kayne, while I have tried to ignore, for the most part, the back stabbing politics of the arena, I am aware of the muck and try gracefully to rise above it. Apparently, at times, a few duelers forget they are human, first and foremost. Those with arrogance and inflated egos have little space left for honor. The words compassion and empathy are foreign to them. I have watched and observed you and many others duel, and have come to respect those with honor and sincerity, for respect is earned and not
freely given. Please don't let a few muckrakers, stand in the way of one as fine as you. While the arena is filled with honorable duelers, there is space lacking for one more, such as them....tis you. See you in the arena, m'lord...honor and skill be with you, always.
