In the time since I issued challenge to the Baron Sartan, I have been thinking a great deal as to why exactly I am doing what I am, and what the DoS means for me. All of this back and forth bickering that has been going on has truly disgusted me, and I want out of it. Should this challenge continue, and whether I am sucessful or not, I feel like I will be drawn back into another pointless heated debate, regardless if I really want to or not.
On the other hand, I still do detest the Overlord's policies, and would like to see him dethroned. However, now I really do not see what challenging and defeating a Loyal Baron of such limited experience will do to weaken the Overlord's grasp on his throne.
In light of all of that, I hereby withdrawl my challenge to the Loyal Baron Sartan. I shall no longer endeavor myself to get into political debates, but duel for dueling's sake. It is something I really have forgotten in my time since I have returned, and truly look forward to having this new perspective in the arena. Please note that I am not trying to convince anyone that my path is correct, for that would drag me back into what I try to avoid.

What don't you like about Dal Stevey? The fact he turns down challenges, worms his way through Warlord's heads like a maggot eating the flesh of a dead carcass and/or the fact that he has a legion of mindless Loyalians behind him?

A post about being sick of arguing somehow starts more arguements.........only in Swords could something like this happen. I suggest to anyone with enough intelligence to post a piece of paper on a board to take this arguement elsewere.

So com'on Dal, your trying to scare me with your pathetic subterfuge of honor and courage when you can't even meet a challenger to your own crown head-on? ::Chuckles:: You must be a master manipulator to get so many loyialions, either that or the Baron's are all quite stupid.
The only thing that makes you worth my effort Dalamar, is the fact that you hold a crown of jewels and power over your head. But once you don't, you'll be as much of a memory as Leto after his reign.

I do not know why exactly Agrenish has just come out and protested against something, about which I do not know. But these arguements are just the kind of things I am trying to avoid.
And if anyone asks: I was not talked out of this by anyone Loyal to the Overlord or the Overlord himself. I made this decision on my own, and will stand by it. And I also will most likely not challenge for another ring until I can do it without the bickering that is so common these days.
