Baron Challenge Resulsts/4th ring.

Tonight, May 5th, 1998 at 9:30 p.m. edt, I was witness to Duelist's challenge for the 4th Baron's Ring. The Baron's defense is shown as follows.

Duelist LP--Huma--FSS
Round One: The pair set their mind to the task and begin a slow circling, each is
prepared for offense and take measures to secure their own safety.
The Challenger brings Median up in a lateral parry, but the Baron's answer to that is a fancy sidestep for a full point.

Duelist FCP--Huma--FCP
Round Two: Again the two are wary of attack, their mirrored parries spin to ward off imaginary thrusts.

Duelist TH--Huma--SH
Round Three: The Baron's trend continues....
...still waiting for that attack, Huma bends a knee, determined to stop any threat of
attack. The Challenger fails to reel in his thrusts and lands it securely upon the waiting
stophit.

Duelist--FLP--Huma--LC
Round Four: The next moves come quickly, cold steel flickering under the bright lights,
the Duelist fancy lateral parrys...
..but rising out of the stophit, Huma's cut is low, and precise.

Duelist--LC--Huma--FCP
Round Five: A Veteran of such challenges, Huma stalks his opponent, determined to
retain the ring that has found it's place on his deserving finger. Just as the Duelist
cuts low in retaliation, the Baron deftly spins the attempt aside with a fancy circ parry.

Duelist--TH--Huma--FSS
Round Six: Very few times will this ever be seen in the challenge rings. The Baron clinches the shut-out victory over his challenger by easily, and fancily, sidestepping
Duelist's ill-fated thrust.

HumaDragbn def. Duelist, 5-0 in 6 rounds.

Huma Dragonbane, 4-time defender of the 4th Baronial ring.

Though ah wished ta see th results differn', well attempted Sir Duellist, as fer honor an frienship, Lord Huma, yer victory this day deserves respect though yer personage shall nevah gain annah such likeness from me. Th words an deed o frienship an Honor have been lost 'pon ya as ya have shown me by yer response ta me earlier challenge fer th verrah ring ya nha hold within yer grasp. Ta this day ya turn yer back on annah tha
once supported ya in all mattahs as long as it suited yer needs, although those tha stand by ya nha have yet ta realize this most important fact.

Careful wha ya wish fer Lord Huma, ya may jes recieve it.

In words and Deed,
Ferevah yer enemy,
Xyclone

Huma,

You did great, hon. Congrats on the fourth defense!! Knew you could do it, and would do it. A fine way to kill that silly superstition, with the shutout.

Jaycy
