Lucky Number 7, will the third time be the charm?

Ladies and gentlemen and all other life forms concerned...

It is with great spontaneity and whimsy that I, on this even of the 18th of the sixth month, issue a challenge, in what may be the very season of challenges, given the inclination of so many duelers to do so. So, in my care to beat the anticipated rush, I shall toss my hat into the circus again.
Adonai, you happen to wear the Seventh ring, which is in my opinion the most fashionable of them all. The new rings are far too glitsy, don't you agree? I'm certain you do, you've taken the ring all over both sides of the fence in your time holding it.. you've schmoozed with loyalists and renegades alike, and how can I blame you? It's a lovely ring.
So here, I list my wins in the past recent times, and thus I qualify myself for the challenge.
2/19/98
RDI Mathia: Final Score Perrinis def. Falablah, 6 - 5 in 12 rounds.
RDI Girvin: Final Score Perrinis def. WarinRyles, 5 - 3 in 9 rounds.
2/28/98
RDI Zuropa: Final Score Perrinis def. IainMacKnz, 5-1 in 5 rounds
3/12/98
RDI Girvin: Final Score Perrinis def. Drakewyn x, 5 - 2 in 7 rounds.
3/29/98
RDI Clo: Final Score Perrinis def. RLupton, 5 - 4 in 9 rounds.
4/10/98
RDI Luth: Final Score Perrinis def. Bended Kne, 5-4 in 11 rounds.
4/24/98
RDI Khrys: Final Score Perrinis def. LrdEvasion, 5 - 4 in 10 rounds.
5/9/98
RDI Reiver: Final Score Perrinis def. SirCassius, 5 - 2 in 7 rounds.
5/23/98
RDI Bird: Final Score Perrinis def. Zen 80s, 5 - 2 in 7 rounds.
RDI Bird: Final Score Perrinis def. XvEvan, 5 - 3 in 8 rounds.
I look forward to the event, and hope that we can arrange some
wonderful catering and decor for my hopefully "Lucky" third run for the
"Lucky" Seventh ring.

With Smiley faces and bowties for all,

Perrinis, father first and a General too.

Daemon, before challenging, I looked over the technical nature of the possibility of challenging closely. Below lies the portion of the Terms of Challenge for renegade warlords that I saw as key to permitting my challenge...

10. Renegades are open to any and all challenges from Warlords. A first
challenge must be fought within two weekends and any pending
challenges must be fought at a rate no less than one a week until the
pending challenges are depleted. This is the only case where a
challenge queue is possible.

If any of the "suits," "big-wigs" or "afficianados" of the sport see it differently, than I would enjoy a discussion with them on the matter, certainly, as opposed to a drawn-out and booooring back and forth over the boards.

Perri,

My friend, good luck in the challenge ya have set forth. Ifn this challenge does come about, I shall be on the sidelines to cheer ya on.

This posting isn't meant to sound harsh, so I hope nobody takes offense to this.

There should be a clarification in the rules as to what it means by "challenge que". Either a baron being challenged, a baron challenging for overlord, or both. Not doing so otherwise, in my honest opinion, will bring further discrepancies unnecessarily to the boards.
The main problem (that nobody can help), is the fact that there will always be a new situation, where the circumstances are altered a little bit. Since this is a public board, the public will post their thoughts. I'm posting mine. We should act as soon as possible when these new scenarios arise. This may sound like what we're doing, but by my meaning, I am stating that it should be written in the written rules.
Regarding whether or not Perri's challenge should be accepted, I agree that it should be. I was allowed in the challenge que against Evan, but Seamus challenged him first. Since Seamus won, my challenge to Evan was nullified. Perhaps, if Adonai wins against Dal, the challenge would be nulled. A humble opinion or two.

Respectfully,
Var Medici-Giovanni

Daemon,

Just to claify something, Perrinis' challenge will be going through, I see it as this.

If you recall last cycle, Renegade Baron Evan had challenged Dalamar for title of Overlord. Not long after, I challenged Evan for his Barony. I was allowed to go through with the challenge, but on the fact that teh Overlord Challenge must be fought first. If Evan had won, then -I think-, I cannot recal correctly, but that I would lose the right to challenge for the Baron title. Since Evan had lost, my challenge to him proceeded normally.

In any case, I beleive that Perri's challenge is legal and will go through with no trouble should all PW's be verified properly.

Thank you.

General Alabaster,

I await word from Golden on confirmation. But even if some amount of official ruling is leveled I will meet your challenge as the first in a que of what I believe will be many should I fail to overcome Dalamar.
Your challenge will of course be nullified should I attain the crown. I suspect you are aware of that, so I will refrain from apologizing for anything I cannot control.

On her way to taking Delilah to a party, Drake pauses to read the missives posted. "Well, Daddy's going to try again... shall we wish him luck?" The ashed haired little girl nodded happily... though not quite three years old, she acted so maturely at times.
Handing Delilah a crayon, Drake helped her write a note for her daddy.

Daddy Win!
Delilah Alabaster

Though the script was a little neater than the almost three year old's normal, Drake was sure Perri would be pleased by the note and moved on to finish reading the rest of the board.

::a warm chuckle as she flips through the stack of notes, especially Delilah's::
::soft mutter:: Maybe my handwriting will actually look neat in comparison...

I don't think it's any surprise where my loyalties lie in this match. Good luck, Perri, the ring'll look a lot better on your finger.

As the angel reads the announcement from the General and peruses the replies, she grins seeing the adorable Delilah's note to her daddy. With a private smile, the angel keeps her thoughts to herself, hoping.
