It seems you consider my desire to place no wager upon this game, no matter how small, an insult. Amazing. If you truly would rather we put ink to parchment for no more than our moves, however, then so be it. I will certainly not lose sleep over it.

"hmmm", her eyes pensive as she invisions his knight leaping over a pawn and landing squarly on a dark muddy field. The Queen tilts her head and whispers to her Bishop, "don't tell the King, but I believe I shall take a Knight this eve". The Queens moves off, steady and sure.
