>>Helix didn't say the number of participants in the Tourney would be limited to 22.... << -- Khrys

>>Only 22 participants so far. << -- RDI Helix (Under the post "Tourny Reminder")

>>The tournament went from twenty two participants, a small number for a Warlords tournament, to too many... << -- Damien (Me)

>>I think you boys had best learn how to read. << Khrys

I believe it is you, Khrys, who needs the lesson in reading.

::Anton reads through the posts and rubs his now grey streaked beard::

::Mutters sadly:: Were is at all possible as a former RDI of DOS I would gladly lend a hand at calling. ::shakes his head:: Who are you fooling old man, those days are past you now. Better to be a spectator this time.

((An OOC note: Counter to popular belief, we did not chisel the results into tablets of stone when I was calling, we had fire by then and used charred sticks. ))

Oh.. Damien and anyone else who might still be following this foolishness...

I also specifed *Limited to* in what I had placed on the board before. Not that Helix hadn't mentioned there were *So Far* 22 contestants. But, if you look at what Lady Helix mentioned earlier in this one... you will note that she herself states that it was NEVER Limited to 22 partipants.....

Perhaps we can drop the discussion of 22 participants since it is quite clear that was to prevent people from waiting until the last minute to register.

As I seem to recall at the last Warlord tourney we were waiting upon Billy Ray to grace us with his presence on one night and that night lasted until 2 in the morning.

Consider the callers who do not *have* to call this tournament at all and be thankful that they so graciously give of their own time for Warlords to take rings, but mostly consider that I don't sleep well without my wife and an unrested Scotsman can be very unpleasant indeed.

In short, tread lightly with Helix. I doubt that there are more than a small handful in the whole of DoS that can honestly say that she has ever been less than totally reasonable on any issue.

Constant,

::looks Khrys up and down and smiles:: Lass.. have ye any experience bein' a body guard? I think I could I use ye. ::gently takes her shoulders and stratigically positions the lass between herself and two or three unidentified parties that know who they are:: There. ::patpat:: Ye'll do a fine job!

::whispers:: Ye know... far be it from me to strike up some kind of gender war, but methinks the lasses understood what I was saying a wee bit more that the lads did... coincidence or *do* we truly speak a different language? :)

And Billy... fret not over your "arse" or any teeth marks thereon. Be grateful the women don't do to you what the mongrels behind the bunkhouse do when tossed a bit of juicy flesh. ::smiles, grits her teeth hard and begins violently shaking her head::

Damnit Kyrs...

*I* *never* said there was 22 participants. I *never* asked why. Go back and re-read my post about fifteen times and come back and tell me that I *ever* said that.
