::Sighs softly, penning a reply.::
M'Lord Rand.
It would seem that, as happens so often, my words were misunderstood. I had never meant it to seem like I was bragging... What I truely want to learn is, what makes people challenge? What makes some people not want to challenge?
For so many, the reason comes down to, "I have reached the point in my career where I feel holding a Baron's ring shall define/shape/apex/insert-favorite-term-here my time in the Duel of Swords."
You stated, in your challenge to Dalamar, you felt it was time to test your skills. Perhaps you were referring to testing your skills in the pressure of a challenge match. I don't know, I'm not you.
Personally, I don't duel very often anymore... I prefer to find duels against people I have never dueled before, or haven't dueled in more than a few months. I find that to be a better test of my skills, especially when dueling those I used to have trouble with, those months ago.
Now, I'm afraid I have to cut this short, my daughter wants to show me something she's found, and she will always be my first priority.

A sound theory, Summer. It is unfortunate that the best duelist has long since departed.
And m'lady Drakewyn, if ye wish to speak with a Warlord whom never challenged, speak to the one referred to above.
