I'm curious to see just how much of yer foot ya' can swallow before ya' choke. Dig yerself in just a little deeper why don't ya'?
<< But, then, I guess she needed the intercession, seeing as she lost in the end, she couldn't have won anyway. I find it difficult to believe that the Overlord could condone such cowardly action. >>
What match were you watchin'? The final score was 5-4. Morgan certainly could have won. It was a good match, don't insult both Morgan and Cletus by assumin' she had no chance.

Though I agree people have the right to have someone intercede for them, I do disagree with the fact that they let it happen for their first challenge.
However, I want to congratulate Cletus on the win. I know he will hold the ring with honor.

Stop whining, Q. Yes, I think it is bad she went out seeking a intereceder.(The Overlord) She has the right to do so, though. Cletus, won, she got really darn close to winning. She spectacularly well. She did fine, and I doubt she'll stay warlord long..(as if you didn't get that.. we'll see her as a baron once again.)

Quizxs Xysar Zzaasdp,
Perhaps I give more credit to Cletus than you do for knowing what the possible outcomes are for challenging a loyal baron. He has certainly the benefit of being here long enough to know what he is doing and saying, which is, apparently by example of your posts, more than I can say for you.
Since you obviously cannot be bothered to understand anything that exists outside your sphere of fantasy-laden "poor-me" wishes and questionable interpretations of writ, I can understand your inability to ask intelligent questions and why you resort to masking your lack of wit and poor reading comprehension skills by spouting raving flaming rhetoric all the while refusing to listen to what anyone else has to say. Yes, I understand these
shortcomings ... in a three year old.
Perhaps when you enter the real world and can fully comprehend the nature of this sport and its challenges like the rest of DoS' normal functioning adults (and some children/young adults), you can develop your argumentative writing skills as well as learn to gather facts and ask pertinent questions before inserting both feet so far down your throat that when you walk and talk you reek of bile.
Please be assured that when you have the courage and the courtesy to be direct and ask questions, I will speak frankly about my actions. Until then, I will wait to see if you are man enough to act like one. So far, the mewling little boy temper tantrum has done little to impress me. It is really rather droll.
Bluntly fighting fire with fire,
Morgan

woah woah woah hold up people, its another case of "bash the person with who speaks out". Geeze you people are gruesome no matter how much you talk of wanting change. Q is talking the truth with some of his opinions added in. Whatever happened to having an opinion. I might not agree with everything he said but i'm not about to start bashing him. Either
ignore him or respond in a nice manner. There was no need to respond with such well hidden nicely written insults Morgan. If ya wanna go down to his level take it to the mail service already.

I did not hide anything, Falablah. My response to him quite clearly expresses just what I think of Q's attempt at trying to take over the Bad Boy of DoS role.
He chose his method of communication and I am merely continuing in kind. If you do not like to read a person's reactions to another's insults, then do not read them. It really is that simple.

ok, here comes another crack at it......these posts are suposed to be about the duels of the 5th ring. Now i'm sure the insults have to do with the ring somehow but its kinda hard to avoid reading your insults when i'm lookin to read about the 5th ring. If you expect me not to read your insults start a new stack of papers titled "Morgan vs Q (warning:
insults are present)". I wanted to read your response but the point i'm tryin to make again is that the insult part had no place on the board.

Good gods, Q, why are you whining? Cletus won, didn't he?
Oh, and Morgan, hon...leave the child alone. No use in fighting a battle of wits with the unarmed.

If ya' don't want to get burned, don't play with fire.
It's pretty simple. Even an orc like me gets it. If ya' expect anyone to treat ya' nice, ya' better treat 'em nice first. Don't blame people for defendin' themselves.

Seems ye failed ta notice th' Cletus Gandarfald flipped a coin ta choose who wouldst intercede on his behalf. If yuir so adamant 'bout challenger meeting challenged, yuir hypocricy ist showin'.

Morgan and others,
It's rather apparent that this Q person has no inkling about what the duels mean, or anything about them. His lack of knowledge and intellegence shows in everything he's written thus far.
Knowing the reasons the intercession was requested, I fully support the decision. Those of some intellegence might think about asking the reasons behind this. Some might even agree that the Intercession was appropriate. Small minds like Q's won't look beyond only the results.
I know there was very good reason for the intercession, and if you want to know, you should ask the main person involved. Namely Morgan. I am sure she'd be happy to explain.

Just a note that I believe Cletus and I to be working out our differences and recognizing steps each could have taken to prevent some of the controversy that we both did not want in the first place.
I wish Cletus only the best at this time and believe he will be a fine baron.
Thank you to everyone who has been so kind to and supportive of me before, during, and after the match. It has not gone unnoticed and I appreciate it more than I can ever hope to express, even the comments from an adversary or two did not go unnoticed and pleased me just as much.

Yes the rules are the rules. Just sometimes we don't all agree about them. Seeking intercession is very fair although some think it is dishonorable. It is all it the mind about what is honorable. I find it a small tad dishonorable, but hey, it happens. I find it very fair. Just a small tad dishonorable as I said.
