Nothing to forgive. Errors occur, haste and feeling sometimes move the hand to quick action or the mind to quick word. Understanding of that is what makes us the people we are.
None are perfect...especially not I. Be it a word, an action or judgement....much that I do or have done could be error. But I do it just the same...because in that moment of thought and action...I was right. And that is the nature of living.
Be well Morgan.

On another note of friends challenging friends, or supposedly friends.
Elijah Basia-Uhr, first to wear the Ninth Baron ring upon his finger was Challenged by one Midnytblue less than a month after he accomplished this feat. She won and the challenge was based on friendship of a simple challenge. In trying to return the favor and recapture the ring for his own he as well challenged her. Between the time she accepted the challenge and the time the match was to be fulfilled, she retired from the title due to political
pressures against a.k.a. Ecore.
Needless to say they are no longer friends, and every witnessed occasion seen where the justification of friendship has been used to challenge someone, a similiar outcome of non-friendship emerges in the aftermath.
In short, friends don't challenge friends if they still want to be friends after the fact.

Percival Marchand, the Duc de Clermont, did offer friendly challenge to AJay Bird of Ballantyne. They are still friends. Indeed, better friends after the challenge than before.

Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but any scorn Huma receives from me is from something very specific and insulting he said to me.

Gentles,
Lest it be forgotten, Siera of Redwin didst offer Bane to stand t'wixt Elijah Basia Uhr and the Baroness Midnight Blue. T'was the Baroness' retirement alone that didst nae prevent it. The Lady Blue's ring wast given unto the next tourney. Lest it also be forgot, Elijah Basia-Uhr wast wroth that the Lady Blue didst challenge and didst complain most bitterly.
