Ya, your empire did some cool stuff. I was commenting on why their empire fell. I did not belittle their entire exsistence.
The Welsh did not feel a need to go conquering the world to rape other people's women and steal their hardworked wares. the Welsh have always been happy with what they have and enjoying life as simple as they have for a reason. They pride themselves on being reclusive, with a difficult language, and their lifestyle, because considering how the rest of Terra developed over the course of history, who could blame them for not wanting to be involved.

After some conversations with historians from this Realm called Earth...
I must say I am very glad Father never took me there during our travels. The whole history of that place reminds me of a mixture of the constant warfare of Rhyshek and barbarian tribes of the Black Mountains.
One question though... why do the Romans claim their Empire ran continuously for so great a period? At least the Chinese admit when one Dynasty overcame another. For sheer length of non-anarchy, the feudalistic era in China is unsurpased in the history of the Realm of Earth. For advances in metalurgy, art, philosophy, medicine and science... their culture is unparalleled. For sheer population and achievement of physical monuments, they are
supreme.
I could only hope that the Grand Duchy of Haaristad will achieve such enlightenment of spirit during the years to come.

Romans never needed to keep the Welsh out. The Welsh were some of the most loyal converted Romans up until the very end. After all, this is what a lot of conquered peoples do.

If I remember correctly, the Welsh were too busy fighting each other, raping their own women, and looting each other's wares to conquer anything. Not that this is necessarily a bad thing. It was a culture that functioned for, actually, a lot longer than the Roman culture. They didn't even need to steal from the Greeks.
