Friends and Patrons of DoS......
Baron Eques and I have agreed to proceed with this challenge on Tuesday, January 4th at the hour of 10 by the eastern clock in the Basement Annex. The Honorable Goldendust Evermeadow will be officiating.
I am honored to be dueling under the banner of Atrebla, wearing a vest of jade green with an ebony back, emblazoned with a silver 'A' on the left breast. Standing as my Second will be my friend; Loyal Baron Condextint "Dexter" Montoya, Grand Marshall of Guardians of Truth. I duel for the honor of my Lord, companion and confidant,Warlord Shadowsiv, the Elven Ranger.
I would like to invite everyone that can attend and I look forward to meeting Baron Eques in the ring. I wish you well Baron....

I see that Taylara took it upon herslef to post the challenge, but I would just like to point out that the match will be held in the arena rather than the annex.
My second for this challenge shall be my good friend Daelin Dragonsblade. My Lady of Honor shall be my deceaced mother who I feel still watches over me. I shall be dueling under the colors of Polaris, black with a red star in the middle. I shall weild two weopons this evening, my hatchet which lies at my side named "Drachen's Hatchet", and of course, my sword, "Dual Blade".
I look forward to seeing many of you there.

In all honesty, if the two can't even agree on where the challenge should be fought (not even the date or official, while argument of such is petty, not quite as disgraceful as determining the location), the ring should be taken away from both of them based on principle.
Of course, I know I will be corrected if I'm wrong, but I don't think the official of the challenge holds any power to say where the challenge match will be fought. That's up to Magnus and Tay to decide.

Unless an official rule has been made changing the way things have tended to work in practice, the title holder decides where the challenge is to be fought. I don't believe this is actually a rule, but it has been the way thigns have worked out in the past.
And Var, no, there is certainly nothing in the rules that says the official decides where the challenge is to be fought.
