Nova,

Indeed, ast well I also recall the days when warlords didst challenge for rank among their peers. Well also do I recall certain warlords laying challenge for rank knowing full well that the challenged warlord couldst nae appear, thereby didst some warlords attain higher rank.

Tis indeed seeming that many lay challenge to baronies on mere whim. One needs only have the stomach to attend an eve of dueling in the basement to witness the dregs that seem to have crept from the alleys surrounding the ancient inn and have found their way into the basement cavern.

Jona,

I take offense to your calling me a dreg. I only use the alley door because there's always a mass of fans waiting for me in front of the Inn and I'm tired of signing autographs.

I personally *like* this challenge among warlords idea.

Jove knows it might have solved a few of my recent problems.

>Yes, I did a great wrong, a large mistake indeed, while I held the 8th, if

Methous,

This is not the only problem people have with you. Thisis merely one of many wrongs you have done. It is not insult to point them out, nor is it insult to condemn the actions or to state that were indeed great wrongs. It is not even insult to question your honor, as your actions raise the question on their own.
As for Angel, I don't know her. I do, however, trust G's judgement. He is usually sensible in such matters, only occasionally wrong in his judgement of character. I know you, however, and in my personal experience, I strongly doubt you have changed. Maybe when I see it I will believe it.

Dear Sir,

Please forgive me if I offend you with this, but this is simply a statement I must respond to. It is quite unfair for you to judge someone on the basis of another person's opinions, regardless of how often they are right. It would be more fairminded to meet the Lady in person, and then judge her how you see fit. I'll retreat into my cave now.

I have not made a judgement, not having met the lady in question. Trusting G's judgement is not the same as making my own. However, as certain of the arguments in favor of his opinion are hard facts, I trust him on the details of said facts.
