The more that is written on the matter, it appears that the decision is more a matter of support than anything else. For the record, I am not complaining or whining about your choice. Although I feel Dalamar is perhaps the finest Overlord in Duel of Swords history, it hardly matters to me how the Barons align themselves.
The point of my letter was simply this: It appeared that there was some ulterior motive behind the decision (ie: the desire of other Questrion barons to support Huma in is choice of alignment). That is not to say such an ulterior motive is by nature evil, simply that there was a reason not being stated in the original letter. When such obvious gaps are left open people will fill them for you, in this case Jeff making an assumption based on his
own history. Jeff simply stated the thing that came to mind in many of us and in return is degraded by the Lord of Questrion. Therein lies my only point of contention.

If you wish to pursue a personal battle with Jeff without entertaining commentary from others, then you should conduct such a battle in private. I'll assume that your reasons stem from events outside this messageboard, however your comment was in reply to an opinion Jeff posted here. An opinion that a great number of duelists share. Generally, it behooves those of standing to seperate personal feelings from debatable issues... of course, were
you to truly posses the mannerisms of a Lord, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

You are correct, and it is my vanity which has forced me to argue about my decision, but I will argue no longer.
I just want to clarify what I said about Billy because I wasn't speaking with a clear head, but out of anger. I do not mean to say that all those who haven't held the overlordship are not worthy of being called good or even great duelers. On the contrary, many of the best duelers in DoS including Bishop haven't held the overlordship. As William Shakespeare once said, "Methinks the lad doth protest to much." In this case, Billy has pointed out
too many times to too many people that he will never try for the overlordship. Just makes me wonder if that's because he doesn't want it or because he's scared that if he tries he'll lose and be exposed as the sham he is.
