If it were not given ta da council ta decide; it would be in da hands of a single man, Goldendust Evermeadow. And while Goldie is my friend and I have complete faith in his ability ta reason logically, I still feel it would always be better ta first have a matter of such importance discussed among our community's leaders ta provide further insight.

Only one problem with your proposed plan.
I have no say or influence on the Baron's Council, at the moment. Neither does the vast majority of the Arena. Yes, I can challenge, but only once a cycle and to only one Baron a cycle. This would deffinately lead to problems and more organized groups of political 'gangs' who merely want the majority within the council.
I did not elect the council to rule the rings for me, nor am I allowed to have a voice in the politics of this arena unless I raise my blade in a title match. Soo... I wouldn't want them making any rule changes that didn't concern them and their titles. Nor do I have any problem with the Council sharing their insight, or anyone else for that matter with the rest of us up here on these boards.
The rest of the rule changes should be left in the hands of the community as a whole and decided upon finally by the Supervisor.
It's not a bad idea, has promise, but I personally wouldn't want 13 duelers who have only proven their skill with a blade making rule changes for the arena as a whole.

Only one problem with your proposed plan.

Perhaps the ruling has already been made, in which case this entire argument is unwarranted, but my understanding of the case here is that there was an agreement to let the challenge proceed without taking an official stance on the matter.
Overall, the point remains that the "this is the way it is, period end of story" rhetoric should be saved for a time when the person making the statement actually has the facts correct and on his side.... this issue, however, remains an open one.

I find myself asking this simple question does not the rule state "calendar" month? In the simplest of terms that should mean from the first of one month to the last day of that month. The rules do not say a thirty day period or from the tenth day of the month to the tenth day of the next month. (Similar to how people use a fiscal year for financial purposes as opposed to the calendar year.)
If a thirty day period were to be decided upon then some Loyal Barons during those seven months of the year that have thirty-one days could find themselves facing two defenses during that month. July and August could become a busy time, both have thirty one days, if a thirty day period as opposed to a calendar month were to be passed then feasibly a Loyal Baron could defend his/her ring the first of July, again on the thirty-first, and then on the
thirtieth of August. Three times in two calendar months as a opposed to the two now allowed.
Just for note, for any not aware, the title Coordinator has not been applicable to the person in charge of the DoS staff for some time, Golden's proper title is Supervisor.

One would only wish to notate here that Jonalyn, unfortunatly, giving respect to her own long history here, is not the judge nor the jury for experience within these halls. As I am sure many would agree.
