Ian Ryan MacKenzie went from negative commoner to Warlord in but three days, a feat I dinna believe hast been yet matched by anna other to this verra day.

To Whomever...

Most of these successes probably came from weak opponents. I can proudly say that my journey to Warlord was done by ones of equal rank & many above me at the time. There were only Three individuals that I can say deserve the honor of DoS Duelist of the year.

A man name of Jesse... came close to the same time I came to the rings. This person acheive higher success against some good opponents than I. I have yet to out blade him & is by far the most challenging foe. In time I believe he will reach heights that no previous dueler has ever experianced if he wanted to.

Poker G... was the first person I notice of extreme talent. I have been honored to duel him many of times with him holding a slight edge. Majority of the matches going 5-4, but it is his antics that always baffles me in the end. His annoying low strikes at my legs still bothers me.

There was another that I do not know of his name so it does not mean to much.

Realize before these odd sort of praises... did they earn it or did they just duel any poor soul that can't even pick up a blade. Give credit to those that desearve it.

Also nominate a certain Redhead... cause she thinks she is all that & gets angry when she gets her arse kicked in the ring by me.

Through recolection of Elijah speaking, Fantasy RC made Warlord in a single week when the DoS was open only two nights a week. Though certain I am not.

Alright, How about Woman Duelist of The Year? I certainly am biased, I admit, but certainly Topaz should be recognized as having the highest number of Wins over Losses of any woman in Swords.

Topaz has pointed out to me that my information was not entirely accurate. In fact, while Gnort was changed into a woman, he actually had the highest win or loss total among female duelers. It is only fair to include him on the list of candidates for Female dueler of the year! ::waggles eyebrows::

As for Female Duelist of the Year, I'd have to push aside my biased a moment.

One woman has recently, this year, returned and during that time she has won two consecutive Warlord tournies resulting in two Baronial rings. Her posts are known for their lengthy and well thought out, though not always agreed with, ideas and educated debating techniques.

The choice is obvious. King Fay is our Woman of the Year.
