Got a few questions fer ya...

1. Is Dalamar still Overlord?
2. Did he have to work very hard ta retain his title after bein' unable ta make his match?

Looks like I got everythin' I wanted, so I guess it really doesn't matter what ya or anythin' believes.

I did what I had ta do Percy, and because I wanted ta help me friend. And I got da result I wanted, same one I woulda gotten if Dal beat Huma himself. Dalamar isn't disgraced, maybe in yer eyes, but yer opinions don't mean squat ta me.

Jeff, all I can say to that is this: Why am I not surprised?
Which raises the original question again. Just what do you want and why? Did you want three of Dal's most valuable and loyal supporters to go Renegade? Did you want others to seriously question your own motives and goals? Do you truly want Dalamar to follow your advice? To call his credibility and courage into such question?
It is rather ironic. I, as Dalamar's political adversary, seem to have more respect for him and a higher regard for his honor than you do as his "Loyal Baron." I find that very amusing.

Do you enjoy looking foolish by fallatiously attacking Jeff by asking such loaded questions? Do you enjoy trying to trick someone into answering the way you want them to so you look like you actually have good point rather than how they really stand on an issue? Do you truly think your argument is sound enough to be so weakly supported by bad debating skills? Can you only resolve conflict by rattling your sword like a barbarian instead of using
your wits? It appears one can only reason with you using your own bad reasoning techniques so I will ask questions like you ask others. How do you like answering such questions?

One thing you conveniently ignored is that it is highly debatable that Var, Seamus, and Bird were "most" valuable and "most" loyal supporters of Dal considering they turned tail. "Most" loyal supporter of Dal would still be loyal, it is really quite a weak stance to say otherwise.

I find it very amusing that you seem to enjoy employing trickery and bad form to make it look like you can win arguments rather than actually having an intelligent and reasonable contribution to add.

If I struck no nerve, why did you make what amounts to threats?
I see you chose to continue to gossip, but avoid the crux of the matter.

If the matter of the Baroness Ashleana's challenge for her ring is a matter for public scrutiny than so is everything Dalamar does.

Public figures put their lives on display for all to see and must be able to stand and be accountable for their actions. Every decision that is made that effects any part of the sport is the business of every duelist who takes the sport seriously.

Is it my business what Dal does that doesn't deal with the rings, for instance what color his undergarments are? No, of course not.. but contrary to the opinions of some, Dalamar's policy decisions are the business of all who participate for they may apply to us somewhere along the line. The warlord that a policy regarding Barons might not effect today might challenge and become a Baron.

The matter of Gavilean's son has NO BEARING within these rings and it is exceedingly innappropriate and childish to insist Jonalyn speak of something that is not anyone's business.

I was intimately involved with the Matter of Westridge and I know that Gavilean placed all of his trust in Jonalyn to act as his regent. He did NOT want his son used as a weapon simply because a few catty women could not keep their noses out of his business and took whatever strides they could to sully a man's reputation and bring his kingdom to ruins. I do not think Luthien to have been one of the "catty women" I speak of; I do, however, think
that the potential for the viscious women to bend Luthien's ear and impair her normally rational judgement was very possible, considering the circumstances, and Gavilean and Jonalyn acted in the best interest of his son at the time.

If you were not there, then you have no right to cast judgement on something you do not know one iota of information about other than some viscious person's attempt at twisting the events to suit their sick, deluded, and psychotic fancy.

I was there. I broke my back tending to the wounded when riots broke out. I spent many a day in deep deliberations with Gavilean's people trying to soothe their fears. I tried to take care of whatever affairs I could to ease the burdens placed upon Jonalyn and Gavilean. I stood by Jonalyn while she to continued successfully with her other responsibilities and shoulder the bulk of Gavilean's empire all the while not buckling under when
viscious women of less substance, fortitude, and conviction used whatever devious and questionable means to try and bring her down. They failed. She still stands proud and is a better person than those that point their fingers in accusation at her. Jonalyn has more class, integrity, and honor than many of us could ever hope to attain in our lifetimes. Those of you who try to reopen these old wounds are out of line to slander a good
woman's name so. It is not appropriate and I will not sit idly by while you attack her simply because you like to stir up trouble in an attempt to shift the focus of attention away from your own dishonorable acts.

I, too, was there. I was there when Gavilean requested me to aid him with troops should he need to war with Jonalyn for his son. I was there when Gavilean's good Mage told of how he tried to retrieve Tristian. I was among the recipients of Jona's letters and Gav's desperate arguements to regain his son. Don't tell me of her good nature and honor. The woman kidnapped the boy, and in any other place would have died.

A Neutral would consider his own safety.
A Renegade would ask Dalamar to do it first.
