Ian,
My question to you, as these posting upon the board are becoming a bit of a nuisance. When was the last time you have seen a dispute solved upon the board? You spoke that picking up a sword hardly settles disputes, in your opinion does useless bantering upon the boards settle them much better? This question is poised to the rest of you as well... ::grins:: the board babys. Is it really worth the time?
A simple question,
Gunthar

I agree with Ian on this. How well you wield your sword does not dictate the quality of your opinion or the right to express it.
I don't agree with the "take it to the ring" mentality. I might in the rarest circumstances, but to rely on that style simply isn't me.

"Tis 'ighly doubtful either 'eaven er 'ell wouldst hae thee."
Upon reading those lines written by Jona she can't help but tip her head back with rich laughter ringing from her throat.
"Oh my, it seems I agree with Jona, for once."
She moves on without posting anything.

The only 'bending" being done wouldst seem ta be that done by Madame Silvertree in that there ist nae anna doubt in mine mind that the challenge issued unta the then Baron Magnus Eques by the then warlord, Goldie, wast improper upon its issuance. Nor ist it anna secret that when Madame Silvertree wast called upon to present the bona fides unto the Baron or his kinsman she failed to do so.
If Master Evermeadow hast indeed made the decision and Madame Silvertree be but following his directions, tis interesting that she dinna make that claim at the time. Tis further interesting that Master Evermeadow hast seemingly chosen to remain silent upon the issue.
Kindly dinna put words into mine mouth, sirrah. I made nae claim that thou wert on Madame Silvertree's bad side, nor do I make claim that such caused her to do annathing. I find it rather amusing that thee make reference special circumstances. T'would seem thou be making admission that indeed there be special circumstances which apply unto thee and thou be the one what hae benefitted by such whilst nae holding that anna such circumstance existed.
I dinna recall commenting that thou mayest be seeking to gain the title of Overlord for in thou didst challenge a Baron. If memory serves thou hast once in past held a ring, the Third, as well I recall thou departing the ring without awaiting the transfer of the ring.

Again, the responses are merely appended.
"Percival du Clermont:
I do recall that duel. It was a long while back, and merely serves to further prove my point. I thank you.
Gunthar:
Steel proves nothing, except when a point of honor can simply not be settled by words. As to your question, I dare say more people come to accomodation by speaking and listening than do by cutting one another to strips... and it happens here often enough that I do not consider it rare.
Cheers,
Ian Rex."

Er...yes..that did wonders to clear my confusion. Any how, as an angel, isn't your status to serve that crazy God the Christians pray to? If that is the case, I am to understand their 'holy beings' are exactly what they are, holy to the practice of the Christians; which would lead to one assuming angels, are well, angelic. But you, well; er, are a tad beyond that, as is the status of most people. However, as to clear up any confusion as you were
hoping to do, are you such a being--an angel in the realm of Christ, or a person with an abnormality, or neither?
Coron.

I thought Strudel-boy was a deader.
He still can't insult worth a turd though, dead or alive.

To the community,
I have accepted Lord Valmion's challenge and set a tentative date. Once that Valmion and I have agreed on the day and time, I will post that for public notice.

So? I'm unique in that respect, aren't I? And doesn't it show that I don't care as much about the jewelry than I do about the position of honor? Besides that, what else does it show? Lack of commitment to do what is required when what is required is an old tradition you have never seen before? Am I going to ask any more questions? No.
I was rather surprised to find the next day that I was expected to have picked the ring up afterwards. Either I had never attended a successful challenge previous to that, or had just never noticed, but I had no idea how the passing of the ring took place.
Faulting someone for ignorance of an un-published tradition is common around here, and it seems you are the most adept at doing so, especially two years afterwards!
I shall make no further comment about Drakewyn, since your mind seems made up on that issue and you want to instead discuss irrelevant historical facts.
