Lord Heart.

To clarify what I had already thought I had clarified...
I took a Leave of Absence from my duties as a caller and back-up Standing's Keeper. During that time, the Standing's Keeper left the employ of the Duel of Swords and my temporary replacement was given the job.
My Leave of Absence had nothing to do with my dueling... after all, there is no requirement that someone duel more than once per cycle to remain on the standings.
Now... does that make it clear?

Madame Starfare.

As to your accusation of me lying about asking you to join the staff of the Duel of Swords.
I can clearly recall more than once telling various people, yourself included, that if you weren't happy with how the Duel of Swords was being run that you should hire on and work to change it.
That may not be what you call a "discussion", but it was clearly a statement saying that you should join the staff.

As for your accusations against Ms. Jansen... and yes, they are accusations. Any call for inquiry which includes a request for the termination of a person's employ is, in my book, an accusation... As for that, I will leave it to Ms. Jansen to speak against you or not, as she chooses.
Though by my mind, you are too bitter and narrow minded to ever possibly admit that you may be wrong in the slightest.
Have done with your constant attacks upon myself and those directly associated with me... you only show the bitterness in your soul.

In closing, I am reasonably certain that my words will only change the thoughts and opinions of those who are open to such change... which is good, yet it is also tragic in it's own way. Even if what I say does not change your stance on the matter... perhaps, with wisdom, it will in some way change how you view yourself and the world around you.

To give respect, even to your enemies, is the core of Honor. To weigh the words and thoughts of everyone, no matter how insignifigant they may seem at the time, is the core of Wisdom.

Oh... I'm so sorry. Excuse me. I made a fool of myself. I am sorry for any inconvenience. Excuse my behavior.

And if Arane is reading this... My apologies for what I said earlier.

This whole thing has been rather odd. Just for the record, insofar as the accusation to Drake that I had knowledge of , to say one final time; I told Karen Wilder of the Challenge before I sent it. RDI Gryphn is a different person. RDI Gryphn did not divulge that I was challenging to anyone. Karen Wilder mentioned it one night in the arena. I did not ask Karen Wilder to keep it a secret. Nor was she bound to. No one did anything wrong. May
you all be Blest.

Not everyone can do such, there are limits. It's almost (almost being the keyword) like telling a peasent to crown himself King to change things.

Dis is all childish...a personal feud which has lingered to da duels, and now every error is looked upon and used to get back at da person fer wot'eva happened in thier personal relationship...I say, unless Marzan wants some form of "prosecution," if ah may call it dat, then let him press on with it, though I don't think he's the kind to want one of our best to resign for a bit of nit-picking...other than that, it is,
well childish, and shouldn't bring in an outside party to which should be Marzan's beef..though I believe any beef does not exist.

::writes simply::

Does anyone else feel that, along with Drakewyn and Karen Jansen, that Golden deserves an apology?

Golden has made his decision and no amount of pestering is going to change that.
