I'd like to ask you how you can say that no insult is offered to Mystik? You say in one breath that Eros and Mystik are a rare joining, and suited one to another... and then in the next you call Eros vile names. I may be wrong, but it seems to me that if you're saying the two are *a pair*, then you're insulting Mystik as well as Eros.....
I think that Eros is right for being offended at the insult to his wife. I'm sure that if someone said about you the things that you've said, albeit indirectly, about Mystik your beloved Gavilean would take offense as well.

Khrys

If thee wish ta believe insult be intended unta Mystik, certes thee may. Yet if thee know me atall, thou knowest I am nae likely ta couch such in anna way save bluntly. I hae spoken wi' Madame De Burgo upon two occasions when she seemed ta inadvertantly offer insult. Tis nae mine way ta berate 'er for she didst so seemin' unknowin'ly, though I didst make known unta 'er mine feelin's.

Mine beloved knows I am quite able ta deal wi' minor annoyances right well, an' save were I or our bairns ta be endangered, wouldst feel nae need ta trouble 'imself with th' matter nor wouldst I ask 'im ta.

Ast ta th' 'vile' names, tis little more th' quite accurate a description 'o jus' wh' Eros hae shown 'imself ta be. Tis certes thee may wish ta support 'im ast a friend, an nae shall I gainsay thee.

Jonalyn~

Khrys has a point. On one hand you call Eros any assortment of childish, ill mannered names, and then turn around and say that he and Mystik are suited for one another.

Try to play innocent angel all you want, but you did insult Mystik by calling Eros (among many things) a drunkard and then saying that she and he are well suited, inferring that she, too, is a drunkard. For example, I could call you a snake, a liar, and a conniving troublemaker who's only goal is to tear this Community apart by pitting us against each other, but I would *certainly* not say that you and Gav are well suited for each other, because he
is none of those things.

Keep insisting that it's not true, by all means. It is quite amusing to watch you try to wriggle your way out of it.

Sidie Poo,

Tis thou doin' th' wiggling, Madame, in yuir usual inept manner. In thee, Madame, certes some village be missin' its resident jester. I need nae insist 'pon annathin', Madame, thine strident albeit amusin' rantin's speak mos' adroitly 'o yuir goals.

Were thee ta shout ta th' verra 'eavens, thine ability ta make rational or fer th' matter logical pronouncements 'o anna kind hast long been shown ta be spurious. Thou art a mos' amusin' if witless female, ast both mineself ast well ast Gav canst attest. Madame, thou hae called mineself ast well ast manna others all manner 'o amusin' if most certes childish epithets, an' mine beloved ist verra well aware 'o it. Westridge an' th' Provinces be well
rid 'o thee.

Jonalyn~

I am curious as to what "Westridge and th' Provinces" has to do with anything in the Arena.

And, Gav is a big boy, he can state his opinion on his own without you.
