Baron Var.

Due to my recent absence, I was not able to read this post of yours... but I find a clear error in one of your statements.

You stated: "You are to say I'm not part of a Baron's Council now, because we're not officially convened? Am I not a caller for the Duel of Swords until I call every Saturday? Am I the only one who thinks this is terrible logic?"
You are, in fact, not a caller for the Duel of Swords unless you are in uniform and clearly acting in accordance to your duties as such.
The fact that you are employed as a caller for the Duel of Swords is absolutely irrelevant to any situation outside of the performance of your duties.
When you make a comment as a duelist, you are a duelist. When you make a comment as a Baron, you are a Baron. You are not a Caller for the Duel of Swords when you are acting as a Baron or as a duelist.

The fact that I am the Standings Keeper never affected the way I acted as a Baroness... and the fact that you are a Caller should never effect how you act as a Baron.

If any member of the Staff, during the performance of their duties, were to forget that no person should get special treatment whether they are also a member of the Staff or a personal friend, then they are doing a dis-service to the Staff and the Community both.
