Diamond Quest Results
reported by HOST DFC Lisana

The Duel of Fists has a new Diamond. A new Diamond and a rather toasted and disaster area look to the Outback. On Sunday April 9, 2000 at 9:15 pm by the Eastern clock the Diamond Quest was begun. It ended at approximately 3:00 am by the Eastern clock on Monday April 10th, 2000. The contestants consisting of some of the finest Emeralds in the Duel of Fists. We started with an odd number of contestants in the beginning so there were
constant byes being given out until the 5th round of the competition. The Bridge now hangs from only one side, Styx has had half of its beams burnt to a crisp and the Pit has been a little toasted and smoke filled, all happening in the final two rounds of the competition. The Dome roof to the Outback now has a fire induced Skylight and the newly installed Sprinkler system, courtesy of Matt Simon, has been frozen. It was a night for new looks and new
records so to speak in the Outback. Below you will find a copy of round results. A small summary will follow at the end.

By the end of round seven of the Diamond Quest everyone but Avery had been eliminated. During round six and seven Firestar went wild with its powers and ended up setting most of the special rings on fire, along with attacking the former Diamond Kelli Elan and letting lose with a blast that effected nearly everyone close to it, including yours truely. By the end of the last match between Avery and Tareth both men were unconscious and in bad need of
medical attention. So let us all welcome the new Diamond Avery Shiv Blade, who is now the Triple Crown Holder of the Dueling sports.

Up for grabs in the next Opal Quest which will be coming soon is the Opal Firestar and news will soon go out about what is to happen to the newly recovered SunCatcher. The Opal held by Kheldar, PathFinder has also been recovered though we have no idea of the where abouts of its Holder. Until such time as we find out the where abouts of Kheldar and his state of health PathFinder will be kept safe in a secret location. So remember to look soon for the
Date and Time of the upcoming Opal Quest.

Honorably,
Lisana Marie Colestae'
Caller for the Duel of Fists.
