FireStar, lost!

We can't hold a tournament for FireStar. We don't have the Opal.

Ria blinked. No, she stared at the short, unsigned note left on her desk. How was she supposed to know this? Dropping the note on her desk, she grabbed a few sheets of clean paper and began to write furiously, muttering all the while. She had been healing these past several months because of that damned opal; no one told her when she was well enough that it was lost! "Great," she grumbled. "I post an announcement there'll be a FireStar
tournament and we don't even have it. Just great."

First, she wrote a small note to add to the next standings posting. Second, she wrote a notice on the letter she intended to send out that day, regarding the MoonBeryl tournament. Lastly, she wrote an announcement for posting on the board in the reopened Outback. Moving out of her office, she tacked it up. After glaring at the words a few minutes, she went back to continue her work. It was somewhat a shame she didn't think to keep the news from
the public eye and just request helpers in a recovery venture. She just wasn't thinking straight.

The announcement reads:

MISSING: FIRESTAR

The DoF staff is in need of some to help in the recovery of the Red Opal. It was last known to be held by Beck Weller. The tentatively scheduled tournament has been postponed until the opal's return.

If anyone has any information or wishes to aid in the recovery of this opal, please get in contact with Matthew Simon or Ria Wells.

A reward is being offered for its return.

Thank you,
The DoF Staff

It was a small note, folded halfways and slipped under Alexandria's door. In a smooth, flowing antique script read the words:

I will find your FireStar. Make your offer.

The note was unsigned.
