A leave of absence

Welan strolls in after months away adventuring. He looks around momentarily at the scene. Slowly, he makes his way to one of the rings. Welan climbs in and walks to the center. He kneels there and places one finger in the sand. As he moves the finger words begin to appear in the sand. He then gets up and walks to the door. He stops looks back and then steps through
the door and into the night. When he has left all is as it was except for three words written in the sand of the central ring:

"I Have Returned."
