Someone challenges the Orc...

The note arrived early in the day. Jake held it in one hand as he read, while his other hand held a mug of ale. As the orc pondered the note, he guzzled down several swallows of the ale, thinking to himself that it was just a little bit too warm. The Winter Brew he had been working on for the past few weeks tasted best when chilled. Without true conscious thought he called upon the powers of the Opal, BeerCooler, to bring the temperature of the ale back down to a proper drinking temperature.

The orc guzzled down a few more swallows, and grinned to himself as the thought of how convenient it was having his own personal ale-chiller at hand had become. So, Dizzy wanted to take his toy away from him? The orc snorted to himself. She goes and wins the Diamond and thinks she can do anything.

Setting the note aside on the bar, the orc got to his feet and moved back towards the keg of winter brew. He refilled his mug and let BeerCooler do its work. When a small hint of frost appeared at the top of the edge of the mug he stopped exerting his will and let the Opal sleep again.

Walking towards the back of the brewery, Jake inspected the order he had ready for delivery to the Outback. Five barrels of Winter Brew, two barrels of black ale, two barrels of Banes Brew, and three cases of pretzels. That ought to hold them for a few weeks he thought to himself.

The orc made sure the barrels were properly secured in the wagon one more time. He tested the ropes one by one to make sure they were tight. Finally, he made his way back around the wagon and recovered his mug of ale. The sharp, almost wintergreen flavor of Winter Brew tasted good.

The orc sighed a little as he wandered back to the front of the brewery. Jake figured he needed to respond to the challenge. Grabbing a red crayon from the bar, he recovered the note and turned it over to write on the back.

Ya' want BeerCooler? Ya' gotta fight me for it. Lemme know when ya' will be around.
