Chris Graziano versus "The Stick"
Fight for Possession of the Blue Opal, IceDancer ("Beercooler")

The first match was like a high school fight in the mud. The Pit contained the match for eleven rounds in a see-saw clash of the titans. To the tune of "Ice Ice Baby", defending champ Chris Graziano entered the ring and to the tune of "Ice Ice Baby" (apparently, it was on a loop), Graziano took the first two points. The Stick would battle back, however, scoring the next four consecutive points and putting the defending champ's back to the muddy
wall.
In the eighth round, Stick made the mistake of trying to end the match with a sweep. Graziano displayed some keen reflexes and leapt over it and landed a counter kick to take the point. In the ninth round, the two came to a standstill, each expecting a little more than the other was giving. And then came the flurry that left Stick's head reeling - a quick jab from Graziano knocked her off balance in the tenth and a finishing toss put Stick into
the mud for the final time as Graziano took the 5th and final point. Defending the Blue Opal in the First Match 5-4 (11 rounds).

The second match turned out to be the final match as the fighters moved out onto the Ice. Graziano held all the cards on the "home field" of his Blue Opal and The Stick was only able to muster up the strength to land one shot, in the first round, on a sweep trade. It took seven rounds, but Graziano's clear superiority on the slippery surface made the fight look much simpler than it really was. In the end, a 5-1 score meant Graziano would be
keeping the Blue Opal at least until another challenger comes calling.

Final Results: Blue Opal def. Challenger 2-0 in 2 matches (5-4, 5-1)
