Tonight, the twelvth of the night by my calendar, Casey Shiv Blade, wife of renowned dueler Avery Shiv Blade, met Xerzes in a best two of three match to determine the holder of MoonBeryl, the yellow Opal.
The first match, taking place upon Styx, saw Xerzes take a big lead that he let slip away as Casey battled back to Sudden Death! After the 11'th round, Xerzes' bid for the opal took a blow, and he went down one match to none.
The second duel placed the pair in The Can, a ring that serves as a reminder of former Outback official, Deuce Mack. This match only lasted eight rounds, after which Casey once more came out on top (but only after both duelers bestowed more than one bruise upon each other).
The Outback staff congratulates Casey on her successful defense, and wishes Xerzes luck in his next challenge attempt.
