Lots of changes in the standings this week! Two Emeralds debut in the standings this week. RLupton (Luppy ) starts out at 0-1, while Kelli Elan (babe ) goes an impressive 2-0. Dark Axe and Bob Braxxx both make it to the top bracket for the first time, while JammerZ33 just barely slips to the bottom bracket. NovaShayde is worth a look at this week, as he meets another Emerald in the ring 5 times; going 3-2. DrkDrmWldr is one of two names slightly effected by a mathematical error. In previous weeks he and Druid06 (now KentaroX), were listed with the wrong winning percentage. The ties in their records were inadvertantly thrown out. The percentages are now correct.Emerald Rankings(for the week of 11/26/97-12/03/97)Key: The Diamond is Red The Opals are BlueNumber of duelers for the week of 11/26/97 to 12/03/97: 13Number of Qualifying Duels for the week of 11/26/97 to 12/03/97: 28Total # of Qualifying Duels (this cycle): 192Total Number of Duelers (this cycle): 23 (1 Diamond) (5 Opals) (17 Emeralds)# of Duels needed to qualify for top bracket: 8.4 (9)Rank Name W L T PCT Bonus Modified PCTTop Bracket1) DoF Demon3: 13 7 0 65% 8% 73%2) KentaroX: 8 5 1 57% 0% 57%3) Dark Axe: 5 4 0 56% 0% 56%4) WalkerBoh1: 6 5 0 55% 0% 55%5) J Oaknshld: 13 15 0 46% 8% 54%6) Goldglo: 7 6 0 54% 0% 54%7) NovaShayde: 8 11 0 42% 0% 42%8) Marzan: 5 7 0 42% 0% 42%9) BobBraxxx: 3 6 0 33% 0% 33% Bottom Bracket10) KillerBe15: 3 0 0 100% 0% 100%11) Kelli Elan 2 0 0 100% 0% 100%12) Percival: 2 0 0 100% 0% 100%13) JakeThrash: 1 0 0 100% 0% 100%14) DrkDrmWldr: 3 0 1 75% 0% 75%15) TarlCab0t: 4 3 0 57% 0% 57% 16) JammerZ33: 4 4 0 50% 0% 50%17) Dex Montoy: 3 4 0 43% 0% 43%18) Falablah: 2 4 0 33% 0% 33%19) Kyttn: 2 5 0 29% 0% 29%20) NateRchmnd: 1 3 0 25% 0% 25%21) TismanBRos: 0 3 0 00% 0% 00%22) ShanniCltn: 0 2 0 00% 0% 00%23) RLupton 0 1 0 00% 0% 00% Any questions regarding the Emerald Rankings can be directed to me, RDI Rask.

Well, I have a question about the rankings. If the average amount of duels is 8.4, then how is it rounded to 9 if you must have at least a .5 at the end to round it? ::scratches his head::

A fair question and one which I can answer. ::smiles proudly::
The average is 8.4. This means a dueler would have to fight at LEAST 8.4 duels to qualify. If someone has 8 duels, they are still 0.4 short of the average. Since *no one* can duel a 0.4 worth of a duel, the dueler has to reach the next whole number. (In this case, 9).
Any further questions can be emailed to me, RDI Rask.
