The mage sat at the table and ate at the grand breakfast that Hubie had served up this morning. As he ate his mind went over the events of the last few weeks within the dueling community, how twisted truth and honor had become in this town. He reached for the hot coffee and washed the last of the breakfast down as he heard voices coming from the south hall, the one that lead to the entrance to the manor. A pair of footsteps headed up
the hall towards the tavern area of the manor.
"Good morning young prince," Hubie called from behind the large oak bar as Arlingond and Ellidis made their way into the tavern. Moralitor chuckled as both lads looked as if they had gotten their monies worth the night before.
"Good morning Hubie, Moralitor," Arlingond said as he made his way to the table and sort of fell into a chair. Ellidis followed behind, taking a chair for himself and nodding greetings to both Hubie and the mage. "What's for breakfast Hubie," Arlingond asked, looking over to Ellidis. "Having breakfast?"
The young rogue chuckled softly as he replied, "I think I will have about twelve hours sleep for my breakfast Arlin."
"Sounds good actually," Arlingond replied, turning to Hubie. "Eggs, sausage and potatoes please, and a cup of that coffee I smell." Hubie smiled and grabbed two cups and the pot, walking over to the table and pouring a fresh cup for the mage and then two for the young men. Hubie then headed back into the kitchen to fill the rest of their order, whistling to himself as he went enjoying how much this job paid for the little he had to do.
The mage took another sip of coffee and then looked to Arlingond. "You two lads might think about settling down for a bit and practicing up on your dueling. I think your father is about to get real involved once more," he said to both of them. Arlin looked over to the mage and nodded. "I expected as much. I too have been following the events of the last few weeks, it's not going to be an honorable fight, that's for sure." Ellidis nodded to
Arlingond's reply and took a sip of his coffee, leaning back and wondering how this story would unfold.

Valmion made his way through RhyDin Town. He was sure that Adonai would have gotten the missive by now and he felt that this was the best way. Not speaking directly about his intentions, but letting history speak for him. It had only been a short year ago, but perhaps this time the need was even greater. Time would only tell how many would answer this quiet call, but he knew where Questrion was going to stand and those that represented
it.
As he made his way up the street towards the manor, he noted the increased security that patroled outside the walls to the manor house. Breunis and he had talked at length the night before and felt that this would be needed, for no matter how justified the actions of Questrion were going to be, he knew well there was going to be a outrage from a large portion of the community.
The two guards nodded in respect as they opened the two large oaken gates for Valmion as he passed through, looking up and noting the standards flying above the manor once more. A silver unicorn rearing on a field of black. Yes, times were going to be interesting once more in RhyDin and this down time was all they needed to put events in motion.

Hubie sat the platter of eggs, sausage and potatoes in the center of the table, then sat two empty plates before the two young men. "Thanks Hubie," both Arlin and Ellidis said in unison as the arena's best bartender filled the coffee cups of the three men sitting at the table before returning to the kitchen.
Arlingond started to fill his plate as he looked to the mage once more. "So what are father's immediate plans, has he said?"
The mage took a sip of coffee and thought about his response. "I believe he is seeking a few others to join our cause," Moralitor then replied, raising one brow as he looks to Arlingond who was devouring the mound of food he had served himself. The young prince looked at the mage and then sat back, wiping his mouth with one of the towels Hubie had set on the empty chair.
"Adonai Uziel?", Arlin asked, looking puzzeled.

"Aye, Adonai Uziel, but I will let him explian, he just stepped through the gates a moment ago", the mage replied, looking back to Arlingond as Ellidis just shook his head amazed at how they read each others minds and how Moralitor was just aware of people in the area. The young rogue had just finished the hunk of bread he had chosen for breakfast and decided to go get a start on that twelve hours of sleep. He slid his chair back from
the table and stood as Arlingond attacked his breakfast with all the fevor of last nights escapades.
"Well, since I am but a commoner in this sport of yours, I believe I will take to my quarters," Ellidis said as he slid the chair in. Arlingond nodded as he scooped up another mouthful of eggs, the mage though standing with the young rogue.
"Don't rest long commoner, I believe Valmion is going to expect you to be a warlord by Christmas, best find some time for practice," the mage chuckled softy and then nodded two both lads. "Excuse me, I also must take my leave."
Questrion's prince gave a half hearted gesture to both men and continued on the plate of food before him, actually looking forward to getting into the thick of things once more. As Ellidis and Moralitor left the tavern, Arlingond filled his plate once more from the platter in the center of the table which brought a laugh from behind the bar. Arlingond looked over and smiled to Hubie and then dug into round two.
