31st Overlord of the Duel of Swords

Lords, Ladies and all others of the realm.

This 2nd day of the 4th month and upon the 7th hour in the evening, I did have the esteemed honor of officiating the challenge for the title of Overlord tween the Warlord, Condintext Montoya and the Overlord, Cristian De Oro.
The Overlord, keeping within his policy of non testing of challengers, did set the match as a Best of Three. Duel one proceeded as follows with the Warlord dueling under the house Atrebla colors of Jade and Black and with his hand fashioned rapier. His Lady of Honor was his wife, though she was absent this evening.

Thus the Warlord bested the Overlord 5-2 in 10 rounds of the 1st duel

With this 5-3 victory, the Warlord did best the reigning Overlord, Cristian De Oro 2 out of two and did become the Duel of Swords 31st Overlord.

If I have my facts correct, history has just been made.

Dexter Montoya has achieved highest honors in all three sports: Diamond in DoF, Arch Mage in DoM, and now Overlord in DoS.

You've been a good friend to me since my first days of dueling. You taught me about dueling, and about the histories. You reminded me about having fun when dueling, when I had forgotten for a time.
