To the current Overlord and all those in the Duel of Swords:


Allow me to introduce myself. I am known as Lady Jade Gabriel Lumanes, though you may call me Jade. I would like to present myself to the Duel of Swords as the newest up and coming contender here. Though I am friendly enough, I refuse to take foolishness or shallowness from anyone. I wish to be friends with all. I am not haughty and am willing to learn from those who are my elders and those with more experience. You may
recognize me from my broad silver sword with the jeweled grip, which I call Thunder, and my cat's eye necklace. I look forward to a rich experience in the Duel of Swords. Pe'haps we shall meet in a match someday.

Hopefully you'll be staying awhile after you get past the point that very few do where you suffer a stroke after getting to know us all and our relations...ONLY KIDDING. Welcome, see you around, I would be glad to offer a duel and some teacherly advice if'n ye need it.

Perusing the message boards, Eldy comes across Dae's message to the newcommer, Jade. She blinks, reads it again, then shakes her head, muttering, "Sure...ye welcome th' newcommers an' offer 'em 'elp...but ne'er e'en once 'ave ye said 'ello tae yer 'ousemate..."

She takes out a crumpled scrap of parchment from her overstuffed belt pouch and scrawls a hurried note:

~Jade,

Welcome. I 'ope ye 'ave manna 'appy hours 'ere....'tis a sport tae be enjoyed an' there be many people 'ere tha' are worthy fer ye tae call frien'. Feel free tae greet me, ifn ye see me.

Sticking the note beside Dae's, she wanders off, still shaking her head.
