One Day Till the Execution

Dear friends,

I finally thought that I had my freedom. Diocletian had died, and his successor, Maximian, legalized Christianity. I was cleared of my sentence.

This morning, Maximian, who was a sickly man, was found dead. His successor, Constantius, re-outlawed Christianity.

And so, I was dragged out of the Twi'lit Tower, my home, and imprisoned again, my execution to be tomorrow at 7 PM at the Arena.
