Beneath a small sign that reads: RED'S CORNER! there is a letter with an attached response.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear Red,
Recently I made a friendly wager at a challenge match and after having won it, the prize being a plate of homemade cookies, the gentleman I bet with has seemingly disappeared. No cookies anywhere in sight!
What should I do?
Signed,
Cookieless in Rhydin
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Dear Cookieless,

Perhaps the gentleman is having a hard time locating you? Have you tried sending a few reminders to his home?

Or maybe you should *HUNT HIM DOWN LIKE THE COOKIE TEASER HE IS*. (Please note that here the words seem to be half erased as though the words were written with great vigor).

Pardon me. I am sure that it is merely a misunderstanding, talk to him, work it out and add on a glass of milk for interest!

Sincerely,
Red

Beneath a small sign that reads: RED'S CORNER! there is a letter with an attached response.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear Red,
I was in the Red Dragon Inn the other night when suddenly I realized that --every-- female and a few males! were pregnant! I'm not ready to be a mother yet is there someway I can avoid this seemingly sealed fate of motherhood?
Signed,
I like my waist line the way it is.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Dear Waistline,

Your not the only one with this concern. I get two, three, four letters a week either worried they may get pregnant or somehow got pregnant and are worried about how many babies are going to pop out on B-day.

I've come up with a few helpful hints to avoid this horrid fate.

1- Don't drink the water, drink milk.

2- Don't wear slinky, black outfits -- these apparently guarantee pregnancy within one Rhydin week.

3- Eat cookies... with milk.

4- When you see that dark, handsome stranger, don't make eye contact! If you accidentally make eye contact, start eating cookies ... with milk.

5- Don't wear any perfumes that "waft" "sexy" aromas such as; jasmine, rose or freshly baked apple pie.

6- Use protection ... like a really sharp dagger.

7- Avoid wearing things that give flashes of your "long legs" or "robust cleavage".

8- When greeting that dark, handsome stranger you accidentally made eye contact with and no cookies are in sight so you just had to get up and speak with him, don't use phrases like, "Hi handsome want to get married?".

9- If you accidentally say, "Hi handsome want to get married" and he says yes, refer to #6.

10- This is Rhydin, make the man carry the baby if he wants one so badly.

11- When all else fails, remember, most pregnancies in Rhydin only last about a week, so chin up, pour yourself a glass of milk and it'll all be over soon.

Sincerely,
Red

And yet another note is posted onto the cork board underneath the sign that reads RED'S CORNER!

Dear Red,

So I know this girl that wont eat my cookies. In fact she even went to great lengths to track me down I think, just to get her cookies. Yet, when I was ready to give my untasted, ripe, never been touched cookies to her, she acted as if she didn't know me. Should I take this as an insult? Are my cookies not good enough for her? How can I get her to eat my cookies and love them.... come begging for them at midnight?

Signed,
Cherry cookies.

Dear Cherry cookies,

There could be several reasons your cookies went untried:

1- Perhaps she likes cookies that look a bit more experienced, next time try chocolate chip, a sure fire old time favorite.

2- Perhaps she was day dreaming about your cookies and thus simply thought you, there in reality with cookies, was simply a product of her over active imagination.

I wouldn't take this as an insult, but as a challenge. Bake like you've never baked before! Make a batch of cookies that shows you were thinking about her when you baked them and bring the milk! Nothing says experienced cookie baker like having a cold mug of milk ready to consume with the cookies.

If you follow these simple instructions, and you bake them, she will come.

And if she doesn't HUNT HER DOWN LIKE THE COOKIE TEASE SHE... oh wait, that was my advice for the other person. Have faith, Cherry Cookie, someone will love eating your cookies.

Signed,
Red

Yes, I have cookes but they are locked up and nobdy seems to want them... I thought that the offlimits type of things drove women crazy... call me nuts if you like, but my cookies have never been tasted either, and I don't see the big deal...

Sincerely,
