Twelfth Baronial Ring
Challenge Results
Baron Dexter Montoya defending against challenger Roland Salsinger
First Month, Fourth Day, 1999

Let it be known that I, Janella Vallonia, did bear official witness to the challenge pressed by Roland Salsinger unto the Baron Dexter Montoya for the Twelfth Baronial Ring this night. I hereby proclaim Roland Salsinger as having been victorious in his efforts through a duel's final score of five to two over eight rounds.

I reckon Roland's second, Nova Grey Shadow, present. Among Roland's named Lords and Ladies of Honor, there was Rix Favre, Ally Saint-Reynolds, Isis Aster, and Sartan. Roland dueled under the colors crimson and black, his chosen weapon the Salsinger.

Dexter Montoya, dueling under Atrebla's jade and black, his second Topaz, his Lady of Honor Anne Montoya, Jonalyn present in her stead, did defend with his trusted rapier.

Subsequently, I learned that the honorable Dexter Montoya did suffer fatal injuries following this match tonight - not attributed to the duel but to an unknown assailant.

Congratulations to the new Baron, Roland Salsinger. I declare the challenge resolved in fair combat.

Dexter Montoya, may your spirit rest in peace.
Your death will be avenged on the guilty.
