On the evening of Sunday, July 12th, 1998, the ArchMage Tournament of the Duel of Magic was held. Six worthy Mages stepped up to take a shot at the most coveted position in the sport. At the end of the night, only one would receive a chance to dethrone the current ArchMage, Wulfson. Many thanks go to caller Arthur Tomas whose assistance was invaluable in getting the many duels officiated as quickly as possible. At the night's end it was the Mage Daegarth Mithmellon who remained the sole participant to not have two losses in this double elimination tournament. He shall face the ArchMage for the title on Monday, July 13th, at approximately 8:00 P.M. by the eastern clock.
