Baron AJ Bird,

Tis only with the greatest respect of your reign that on this eve of my being ranked the number one Warlord do I hereby step forth and challenge you for the ring that you wear. I have decided that you should prove to be a test of a true champion and this is what I desire in a challenge. This challenge has nothing to do with you personally Baron, only that I wish to follow in my fathers footsteps as a champion in the Duel of Swords and to achieve something that he has not. To wear the ring of a baron.
Below you will find my peer wins that allow me this challenge.

I will leave the time and date for this challenge up to you m'lord, and would request that I might be able to choose the caller for the evening. Upon announcement of the date and time, I will announce the pagentry of second and Lady of Honor.

08/03/97 PKardinal 5-1 RDI Ranger
09/04/97 Xyclone 5-2.5 RDI Daemon
09/04/97 XxLucianxX 5-2 RDI Daemon
09/04/97 HumaDrgbn 5-3 RDI Daemon
09/04/97 Dakich 5-2 RDI Mathia

09/04/97 GnrtDrgoon 5-1 RDI Rogue
09/04/97 WickedDeth 5-1 RDI Rogue
09/04/97 Rix Favre 5-2 RDI Rogue

I look forward to meeting your skill in the ring Baron. Honor and skill to thee.

My, -that- is an impressive array of Peer wins... And, as I had mentioned in an earlier post, not one of them more than two months old. It's good to see that you are as good as your word. I asked to see you duel more often and, lo and behold, you have proven your skill quite throughly.
Take no offence, but I find I must root for the Baron in this match as he is a friend to me and mine. Still, skill and honor in your challenge WarLord. And if you do win, I hope you comport yourself in a truely honorable fashion as a role model to the sport and the community.

The Lady Drakewyn Alabaster the Tenth.
