Duelist of the Week - Sept 13

The calling staff of the Duel of Swords would like to congratulate Drachen for being awarded this week's "Duelist of the Week".

Quite a few duelists had superb weekends, including Karen Wilder and last week's winner, Var Medici-Giovanni. However, impressed by his wins over high ranking patrons, the callers' voting this week went mainly in Drachen's favor.

Drachen, who I'm told also goes by Ace, went 4-0 this week. He took a 5-4 win from Duel of Magic's Archmage and Duel of Swords warlord, Face; as well as a 5-3 victory over the often DoW nominee, Taree. His other two victories came at the expense of former DoW winners -- Nova and G.

In recognition for his outstanding dueling, Drachen's drinks for the up coming week will be on the house. Congratulations, Drachen!

Also nominated this week was Steven Barbarossa who went 5-0 for the weekend but did not have the notable names on his victim's list that Drachen did.

Ria Graziano and I also received a nomination, not for our dueling, but for bringing to the public's attention little known facts regarding Chris Graziano. Including that he has a teddy bear with a pink bow that he calls Mr. Snuggles and that he likes to put on a pink leotard and ballet slippers and dance in his living room.
