Ladies and Gentlemen, as well as all else:

This evening, January the Ninth at Nine of the Eastern Clock, I was privileged to observe and officiate at the Baronial Challenge for the Ninth between Taree Faery Barbarossa and Ace, or Drachen as some know him.
Taree's second was Cory Havoick; Ace claimed none for his second.
The format was a single duel only for simplicity's sake, and as all involved were present at the time we began the challenge roughly seven minutes early.
The Baroness took an early lead, two to one in the second round, but thereafter Drachen dominated the duel, claiming one point after another in reasonably swift succession to claim the ring with a score of five to two in nine rounds.
Taree gave up her ring in good spirit and claimed she would soon take a vacation. The new Baron Drachen did not state his alignment at the time.

((Play By Play is as follows:
(Read all scores as Taree/Drachen)

R1: HC/LC. 1-1 Tied.
R2: FSS/FCP. 2-1 Taree.
R3: HC/Th. 2-2 Tied.
R4: LC/FCP. 3-2 Ace.
R5: FCP/FLP. 3-2 Ace.
R6: SH/SH. 3-2 Ace.
R7: LC/Th. 4-2 Ace.
R8: FDu/FSS. 4-2 Ace.
R9: Th/SH. 5-2 Ace. (Final) ))

Taree.

I am sorry you did not win, but I expect it will be but a matter of a short duration before you once more claim a ring.

I didn't know there was a challenge.

This falls under that "Who you're required to tell" thing. So, no biggie. Congrats to whoever it was that won the match.

And stuff.
