On the 25th night of the 6th month, and in the year 2002,
I. Nycholas DeGyrlington, did have the honor of officiating the match between the Council's Champion, Nova Grey Shadow and the Warlord, Admiral Ramsus "Tidewater" Llegron.
The former Baron of the 6th, one Xericmues, did fail to respond to his challenge and was deemed to be in default by the Council of Barons. He was stripped of title, and Nova was appointed in his stead.

Ramsus dueled without second or lady. He claimed that it was his desire to stand on his own two feet.
Nova dueled for the honor of the 6th, and was seconded by the Baron Verceterix Favre

The duo squared off and the match was rather one sided through 6 rounds as Nova took a commanding 4-1 lead.
Ramsus however would not quit and began a rather impressive comeback.
By round 12, the match was tied at 4.5 for each man and I was certain I would be there till the cows came home. To my surprise, Ramsus cut high over Nova's circ parry in 13 and secured himself the win, the ring and my admiration.
This being done, the new Baron of the 6th did declare himself renegade to the Overlord.
