Ladies and Gentlemen of the Duel of Swords
This evening, July 22nd, I had the honor to witness the challenge issued by Baron Cletus Ganderfald unto Overlord Dalamar Ar'Daumon for the Supreme Title. The match was preceded by a Test of Worthiness presented by Baron Sartan, and the Warlord Magnus fought to defend Cletus's right to duel Dalamar.

It began slow, but Magnus soon enough took a two to nothing lead after three rounds. A couple more rounds went by where neither yielded any points, before the two traded to get the scoring going; as a point was scored every round after that trade. Eventually, Magnus reversed his cut into the stepping Sartan to take the match, 5-3 in 10 rounds, and paved the way for Cletus to duel Dalamar.

Cletus fought for the honor of Arane Ganderfald and was seconded by Magnus Eques. He fought under the Polaris colors: a red circle on a black flag.

Dalamar fought for the honor of Elle McBride, and was seconded by Sartan. He fought under the colors of the Oldest House, silver and black.

The match's pace picked up a lot sooner than the Test of Worthiness, with the score tied 2-2 after three rounds. Dalamar proceeded to take a 4-2 lead. Only one round passed where neither of them scored. After that, Cletus spend the next three rounds to rally and take the title against one of the Arena's most skilled Overlords of all time, winning 5-4 in 9 rounds.

Upon securing the title, Cletus passed the honor of holding the Ninth ring to Warlord Magnus Eques, who earned it by virtue of successfully defending him in the Test of Worthiness.

All barons have one week to declare their alignment, which should be sent to Remy Sigurd.

Congratulations to Cletus and Dalamar for a fine duel, and congratulations to Magnus for the Ninth Ring.

Elle, you can't marry this new Overlord, he already has a woman.

Congratulations Cletus, I regret I was unable to attend.

Congratulations Dalamar for your stout defense and doing the one thing I have valued above others in anyone frequenting the DoS. You showed up and participated.

What have you won or done again, Bode?

Oh, that's right, nothing. Zilch, Zero, Nada.

You are a sophomoric redneck ne'er-do-well, and I'm thinking that sometimes soon, maybe you'd be a good guinea pig to see if the Ward really does cure a severed head.

That's right, here. And guess what accomplishing anything here means. Diddly squat, cept to the warped little minds who actually waste their time thinking themselves special inside their own little fantasy fart world, when no one's giving a rat's petoot out there. Later on, pretty boy.

Overlord Ganderfeld,
I admit, I thought ye had no chance in hell. Well done. I will withhold challenge til an arsehole beats ye.
Blessings of Twilight,
