The results of the challenge for the First

The Baron of the First, Daelin Dragonsblade, dueled under the banner of Dragonia
That being a Golden Dragon with wings spread, clutching
twin swords in its talons, embroidered upon a Royal Blue
backdrop.
It seems he could not find a date for the evening so he
was without a lady of honor, and without second.

Gnort was in the same boat, no date for the dance and no one was there to back him up.
Seeing the combatants situation, Charile Jerhico volunteered to be G's LoH and Second.
Not wishing to be outdone, Jaycyinda Ashleana then volunteered to serve in the same capacity for the Baron.

The pair squared off in the ring called Smackdown, it seemed appropriate after all the smack talk prior to the event.

As the duel began, Gnort got a bit of added motivation as his second offered herself as a reward for a speedy duel.

The duels began with neither man scoring until the 3rd round where G took the first point and never relinquished it through out the two matches.

Duel number one ended after 12 rounds with Gnort defeating Daelin, 5-4
The Second match went the distance, a full 15 round with Gnort winning this 5.5-3.5 and taking the title of Baron of the First.
He aligned him self as renegade and then asked who the overlord was at this time.

This was as interesting a match as I have had the pleasure to witness.
Upon passing the ring to the new Baron, Daelin announced is idefinate retirement from the sport, stating his responsibilites in his home land as his reasoning for the decision.
We wish him Godspeed and fair winds.
