The honorable Baron of the Eighth, Nova Grey Shadow has accepted, the wins are verified and the date has been set.

We shall be dueling the eveing of the 22nd at 10:15 by the eastern reckoning.
I would hope to see as many of you as may attend and assure you, you will not be disappointed.

It's rather interesting that the Baron has been silent this entire time.

He's probably been too busy using his writing hand for, uh, other activities. If you know what I mean.

Or he just doesn't have anything to say, which isn't interesting. It's actually pretty common.

Tied to one of the message tacks is a string. At the end of this string is a tiny metal drum with a picture of a cow on the side of it - an eight is painted crudely on the top. Every time someone comes near, a recording is triggered.

"Mooooooooooooooooooooooo."

Thus, Nova's silence is broken and the Eighth ring expresses its inanimate pleasure over the possibility of a new holder.

What is this thing attached to the cork?

An artistic representation of Arane, maybe?

I thought it was your last sexual encounter, Cas.

I knew you were with my ex-wife.

::the pounding in his earlobes more the like the drums of some distant jungle tribe than anything else, Seamus slowly walks to the cork for one added reminder. Feeling a bit more draft than his usual attire affords him, he looks down toward what must be a hallucentation. "My gawd" belts the Scot, " "where the bloody hell are my clothes?"
Seeing what seemed a rag over his loins, his bare chest exposed to the world, he seems to remember that Amaltea had given him this scarf, or what seemed like one, as her idea of the evenings attire. Thinking this indecent, he prays there are no wee children or women in the arena this night, for a simple sidestep or the slightest breeze will surely share more than he is willing.
Muttering as he weaves his way through the tables, he hears the quiet laughter of the serving staff as they watch him slip out of the arena. " Well Mac Donnaugh, at least ya will nae be alone in this folly, and besides, Amal should be looking mighty fine in tha' wee rag she is tae be wearing. As for William heaven help us. I think Seregill has the right idea with an o'er coat"
A few more Gaelic curse words are heard as he walks near naked into the Red Dragon :::

G'nort,
If it was truly Cas' last, ahem, encounter, perhaps we should warn Seamus that someone's making unlawful use of his cattle's meat?
