Challenge for the 12th between Ticallion Carter in his first defence and Nicholas Overton Tyme.

Both Baron and Challenger were without entourage, neither sported banners or dueled for any particular house.
The first bout went to the Baron, he allowed only two points by the Warlord before he ended it in 8 rounds by a score of 5-2

The Second match went to the Challenger 5-4 in 7 rounds.

The Third match was the Challengers as well, 6-4.5 in 13 rounds.
Nicholas Overton Tyme took the ring and declared himself renegade to the crown

Witnessed this 13th day of October.
Nycholas DeGyrlington

On a side note
The combatants seemed to be feeling the effects of their wounds more that have seen in the past.
We relocated the third match to the Basement Annex in hopes it would change the effects of the blows. It seemed to lessen their injuries and I suggest an investigation into the seeming lessening of the wards protective powers in the arena be launched.
Below are the round by round results.

Nicholas --
I believe congratulations are in order toward your victory. And even moreso, a double congratulations on your well-thought alignment. I wish I had been there to see it.

It was no easy task...let me tell you; what, with all the blood and wounds that refuse to heal. Something has changed in the Arena. Could it be the Ward is failing? As impossible as that sounds...it is the only thing that makes sense. My wounds were not as severe as Tical's but I still walk with a limp this day and in my case, the pain was not as severe...yet, the wounds took
forever to heal over.

My respect and mad props to Tical for the Match. I was not sure that I could pull it off..and I almost didn't.

Thanks to Lorance for being there as my moral support...otherwise, I would have dueled alone.

And to the mysterious Yuri; you have peaked my curiosity and I shall endeavor to meet you again. Thanks for the offer to not only be my Second, but my Lady of Honor as well. Perhaps next time...I will accept your offer.

Well now...

As one for whom th' Ward has ne'er been much aid, I suggest ye look instead fer somethin' or someone thet might be interferin' with th' Ward.

A search should also be made fer th' Guardian o' th' Ward.

If you're walking with a limp, Nick, you should probably go check that out. As for my injuries, they weren't too bad..and I'd probably have to disagree with you on that worse part. I'm used to this sort of thing, worse even. Bleeding's a part of what happens alot where I'm from.

Anyway, good challenge..I know you'll be able to do more with a Barony than I could. Someone needs to check on that ring magic, though.

Congratulations Nick! Sorry I wasn't there, but I've been feeling like a bad luck charm. So it was best I wasn't there. :)

It has occured to me that I may not have meant that. I think I meant to thank Yuri for the offer to be my Second...I didn't mean Lady of Honor, as well. And I meant no offense to Yuri by stating this.

((Bah...something got lost in the translation))
