8th Ring Challenge (Aya vs. Nova)

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Duel of Swords
On the evening of November 12, I was given the honor to witness the challenge issued by Warlady Aya Hayashibara unto Baron Nova Grey Shadow for the right to wear the 8th Baronial Ring.
Nova dueled under the color of his family, and had no second or lady of honor to present.
Aya dueled under a gray and white banner, having no second or lord of honor to present.
There was an impressive number of people in attendance. Throughout the match there were around ten spectators throughout. They all came to a good show which was fought in the best of three format.
In the first match, Aya begun with the lead and kept it throughout. Nova's only two points came in the third and fourth round, where he traded hits with her. The rest of the match, however, had Aya in control. In seven rounds, Aya won 5.5-2. Nova requested a break, looking very ill, and his blades faded into stardust. He borrowed another pair of blades to fight the second match.
The second match was much closer, and much longer. The lead was traded five times. After fifteen rounds, Aya was the last one to hold onto the lead, taking it 5.5-4.5. Nova gracefully presented the ring to Aya, who gracefully accepted it. She declared herself Renegade to Overlord Blindfold Proxy until she learns more of our customs.
Congratulations to Nova and Aya on a well fought match.
