A new Overlord

Ladies and gents,

On this 30th day of January at the 7th hour and within the confines if the arena's annex.
I did bear witness once again the age old rite of The challenge between the Warlord Arithon Falessen and Dalila the sorceress and 51st Overlord or in this case, Lady of the Duel of Swords.
Arithon was seconded by the Warlord Grayson MacLeod, and dueled for the honor of Elle McBride. The Over lady was seconded by Andur Salsinger, The Knight Sir Robert stood as Dalila's Lord of Honor.
Red, blue, and light yellow were her colors, in respect of the elements fire, ice, and lightning.
The duel was fought in a best of three format

Dalila takes round two 5-2 in 9 rounds.

I would like to state that, despite initial disappointment with the reasoning for this challenge, it is my firm belief that Heaven has determined it is better that I not hold this position one day longer; a tangent belief is that this is, in part, due to the man who wields the high mantle currently.
Arithon has displayed tremendous respect and honor throughout this process, not only to myself, Nycholas, and the other individuals involved in the challenge proceedings, but towards the Duels themselves. There are several who question his readiness to step into this leadership role; if my words hold any weight in defeat, I would ask that he be given sufficient opportunity to prove himself fit or unfit. My view is that he should be allowed to face the challenger stemming from the upcoming Warlord's Tournament; should he prove victorious, by then his ability should be clear.
I say this as a request, a suggestion only; you must all do what you feel is right. My intent is to continue ridding the leadership ranks of unsavory characters; if you are yet unaware who I consider to be such, with Heaven's favor, it shall be known soon enough.
Arithon, should you face challenge from one you deem unworthy, my blade shall serve upon request.

Many of the past Overlords have not worn the crown nearly as gracefully, justly, and as rightfully as yourself. Your reign was a good one, and the Duel of Swords arena is a better place because of your presence.

For the record..

I went Renegade to Arithon cause he doesn't have as sweet an ass as Dalila did.

But, if there's some sort of profit in line I could go Loyal. But of course, I've been in negotiations to get him some sort of commercial deal for farm equipment, so I don't think he could pay me too much.

Ah well.
