A package arrives

She had been waiting. Not patiently mind you but waiting nonetheless. The old white wolf on the rug by the fire appeared to be grinning at her as he lowered his head down to his paws. He could feel her anxiousness and sensed that she needed to relax and proceeded to get vocal about it.
It seemed to have taken them forever but it was finally done and on the way. It would be nice to be back in her old uniform even if it had to be altered to fit the managment's idea of a dress code. Oh well, she could live with.
A lift of the wolf's head had her moving towards the door a few seconds before the knock at the door came. She almost snatched the door open only barely managing to control her haste as she reached for the latch.
It had arrived.
