Watching from the Tower. . .

After the little "lightning incident" had shorted out his minicomp temporarily, he'd let Chris take over the ID challenge and quickly made his way back to the Tower, were he'd watched Max's challenge via the recording equipment he'd stashed there(among other places). After the dust-up on the docks, staying out of sight was a much better idea for a while. Noting the various faces gathered to watch, he quickly made not of who to keep a generally cautious eye on. He made sure to record Nubie's shutout for later playback(for personal reasons, of course). Then noting the second matchup, he grimaced a bit. The Gypsy was a helluva fighter, but definitely had some stamina problems. Then he noticed Chaz's odd behavior. . .

"Sunuvadrek-bleedin' slitch. . ."he muttered. . .

Keeping half an eye on the final duel, he kept noting where Chaz was and who she paid the most attention to.

"Somethin' tells me this ain't gon' be good. . ."

A scowl crossed his face as the last match ended.

"Def'nitely not good. . .Guess Ah'm gon' stay armed fer a while. . ."

He never really noticed the skies around the tower beginning to darken. . .
