On Tuesday, March 23rd, 2004, the winner of the Archmage Tournament preliminaries, William Wulfson, did press his challenge to the rank and title of Archmage. William did meet the Archmage, Flora LeGray, in a best of three contest of will.
In the first duel Flora took the early lead. In round 7 William wrestled the lead from her. Though Flora kept the score close, William managed to hold onto the lead to win the first duel 5.5-4.
In the second duel, William left no doubt about his skills. He took a very convincing 5-0 win and emerged as the new Archmage after only 5 brutal rounds.
All hail Archmage William Wulfson!
