ArchMage Tournament Prelim Results

On the evening of Sunday, November 8th, 1998, the ArchMage Tournament Preliminaries of the Duel of Magic were held. Eight worthy Mages stepped up to try and earn a shot at the most coveted position in the sport. At the end of the night, only one would receive a chance to dethrone the current ArchMage, Wulfson. Many thanks go to Arthur Tomas for calling several of the matches.
At the night's end it was the Mage Deralynn Daering who remained the sole participant to not have two losses in this double elimination tournament and finished the night with a perfect 4 - 0 record. She shall face the ArchMage for the title on Monday, November 9th, at approximately 8:00 P.M. by the eastern clock on Twilight Island.

Retired: Lem Dinaro (0 - 1) - Following his loss to Luna Mask, a bolt of lightning descended from the heavens and struck down Lord Dinaro. Those gathered were both shocked and saddened by the former Archmage's death, but the Tournament had to proceed.
