A bright and charming smile appeared on the auburn-headed lass's face. She turned toward her favorite eighth Dwarf with glee held in her eye.

"Jeff! Ye look like ye 'ave seen a ghost." she chuckled. "I assure ye I am real. Aye, always yer Queen."

And if ever a dwarf's face could lose it's color, Jeff's did. He lost his feet as well. She rushed to his side, held her hand about half-foot away and brought it down softly on his cheek, several times.

"Now, that felt real, Aye?"

The Dwarf sat up and looked long and hard at her, then shook his head, and blinked again.

"Gads, whatever the toads was in dat drink......". He shook his head again.

"Aye, perhaps it was toads, ladd. But nay a drink summoned by me. Now do tell! There are others I must find! Forgive me, Jeff.....I need cause no harm...perhaps, ye need explanation?"

Again, he shook his head. He picked up his mug.

"dagn...now dat's what I call Brew....har, har, har."

::Tass slowly walked around the corner to the boards, dreading to find what was upon the coark this week. So many troubles had been caused by these boards that it was almost not worth the trouble to come and read them. His slow and steady steps stoped short as a voice came to his ears that he had not heard in ages....a voice that was long dead...Nessa. Tass lifted the hood from his head, and draped it over his back. The blood-stained cloak clung
tightly to the area where the wound was mended, but hung loose about the rest of his body.

Tass raised his head, letting his blind eyes set upon the voice that he heard. Softly, and quietly, Tass closes his eyes and wispered a prayer, asking for all the strength left in his worn-out body to come to his eyes, so that he may see who the voice belonged too. The fights the past couple of nights...the absence of his wife...the sorry in his heart had all drainded him, leaving him a weak, frail figure. His magic had left him, but why and how,
he did not know...only a single blade was left on his body, the others take from him but the old one....

The haze came to his eyes, telling Tass that his prayers had been answered...he would be able to see who stood before him. A blurry dwarf sat before him on the ground before him...and this dwarf was no stranger...>Jeff...< Who could be powerful enough to knock Jeff to the ground? Tass's steps came suddenly and he found himself at Jeff's side, looking upon the tall, well figured being. Tass knew this person...but who was she? His eyes suddenly
came into focus on the face of the lady...::

Nessa turned her petite self around and saw the kender.

"Me favorite kender....!!!!!!!" She opened her eyes wide and the auburn color in them came alive. "Tis because of ye, I am alive!"

A knight walked in at that very moment. He was a tall, well-built man with piercing eyes and like many great men, he had very unique features. His manner was impressive though affable, and he held both authority and dignity. He 'ad withdrawn his great sword from it's sheath and he was headed toward Jeff.

"Sir Gabriel Archangelo, That will nae be necessary." She said.

At once, Gabriel sheathed his sword, turned toward his Queen, clicked his heels together, and stood to attention.

"As ye command, My Queen."
She smiled back charmingly and added, "Besides Gabriel, I must say, he is quick wit his blade, and nay to be underestimated. Come hither. I shall introduce ye to me verra special friends."
